I return to my breath to return to myself.
1:1 Breathwork & Meditation.
1:1 Breathwork & Meditation offers a personalised space to slow down, reconnect and work with the breath, body and nervous system.
Through guided breathwork and meditation, each session is shaped around what is present for you on the day, supporting regulation, clarity, grounding and connection.
New Day Vibes offers two 1:1 pathways: Breathwork Journey, for a more immersive and individualised experience, and Elemental Breathwork, structured sessions guided by the five elements.
Sessions are available in person and online, with each format held with care and shaped to support your individual needs.
Sessions are held online via Zoom or in person on request.

Breathwork Journey.
Breathwork Journey is a personalised 1:1 experience designed to support deeper awareness, regulation and integration through the breath. Each session provides a safe, supportive space to explore what is present with care and intention.
We begin with a comprehensive check-in to understand what is present and shape the direction of the session. Supportive breathwork and meditation techniques are used to work with the nervous system, allowing for regulation, clarity and reconnection. Space is intentionally held for integration and reflection, allowing insights to settle and be meaningfully applied.
This offering is suited to those seeking a more immersive and individualised approach, held within a deeper container.
Gentle follow-up support and reflective practices are offered to support integration.
Sessions are held online via Zoom. In person sessions are available by request (Melbourne-based).
2 hour initial session
90 minute follow-up sessions

Elemental Breathwork.
Elemental Breathwork is a structured 1:1 or 1:2 online session guided by the five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether. Each element relates to different nervous system patterns, shaping how we work with the breath in the session.
We begin with a gentle check-in and set an intention for the session. From there, we use guided breathing and meditation techniques to work directly with your nervous system. The breath acts as a bridge between body and mind, creating space for clarity and presence.
These sessions are shaped by what is present for you on the day. The work remains calm, grounded and responsive, with space held for integration both within and beyond the session.
The session is guided with care, allowing you to move at your own pace without pressure or expectation.
60 minute sessions available online via Zoom. In person sessions are available by request (Melbourne-based).

Guided By The Elements.
New Day Vibes approach is guided by the five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether.
Each element offers a different way of working with the body and nervous system, shaping how the breath is used within the session.
Some sessions may feel more grounding and steady. Others may move through emotion, activation or clarity, each guided by what is present and what feels appropriate in the moment.
Space for integration and stillness is held throughout.
Rather than following a fixed structure, the elements allow the session to respond to what is present, supporting regulation, awareness and deeper connection over time.
Before we begin.
-
Breathwork is the practice of using specific breathing techniques to support nervous system regulation.
Your breath affects how safe, calm or alert you feel. When guided intentionally, it can help reduce stress, ease anxiety, improve focus and build emotional resilience.
Some techniques are slow and calming. Others are more energising. Each session is designed to meet you where you are.
At New Day Vibes, breathwork is often combined with meditation to create space for greater awareness, integration and connection between mind and body.
-
New Day Vibes takes a grounded, nervous system-aware approach to breathwork and meditation.
Sessions are guided with care and intention, using breath, meditation and reflection to support regulation, awareness and connection. The focus is not on intensity, performance or forcing an outcome, but on creating space to notice what is present and work with the body at your own pace.
Practices may be calming, grounding, energising or reflective depending on the session and what feels appropriate in the moment.
Whether experienced individually or in a group, the intention is to create a supportive space to slow down, reconnect and explore the practice with curiosity.
-
This may be for you if you’re looking for guided support to navigate stress, change or emotional pressure. Or you may simply be curious to explore breathwork and meditation, without pressure or expectation.
You might find yourself here if you are:
• Holding more than you let on.
• Pushing harder, yet feeling depleted.
• Often activated, restless or on edge.
• Quick to react, withdraw or go quiet under pressure.
• Moving through personal or professional change.
• Feeling unclear on your values, or not living them. You may be wanting:
• A simple, effective practice to support emotional regulation.
• To feel less reactive and more settled.
• To move through change and pressure with more ease and clarity.
• To turn inward with greater intention.
• To live in greater alignment with who you truly are.
• Depth without drama or performance. -
Each session follows a clear and supportive arc.
We begin with a brief check-in and set an intention for the session. From there, I guide you through breathwork, meditation and reflective practices shaped around the session and what is present on the day.
Techniques vary depending on the session, and each one is explained clearly with alternative options. You are always encouraged to move at a pace that feels right for you.
We close with space to integrate and reflect before the session ends.
-
Yes. Breathwork can be a safe and supportive practice when facilitated with care and tailored to the individual.
You will complete an intake form before your session so any relevant medical history or contraindications can be considered. This ensures the session is guided safely and appropriately.
If you have any medical concerns, please speak with your doctor before booking.
Sessions are structured, intentionally guided and adapted as needed. You are always encouraged to move at a pace that feels right for you.
-
Emotional responses can arise during Breathwork, but they are not required or expected.
Breathing patterns directly influence the autonomic nervous system. As the body shifts between sympathetic activation and parasympathetic regulation, stored stress responses or emotional states may surface. Over time, working with the nervous system in this way can help build capacity and emotional flexibility.
Emotional safety is prioritised throughout the session. You are supported to move at your own pace, with no pressure to push, perform or intensify the experience.
You are always encouraged to pause, adjust or return to a steady rhythm if needed.
-
Both offer a supportive, guided experience, but the setting can shape how the session feels.
In person sessions can create a deeper sense of presence, connection and immersion. Sharing the physical space can make it easier to step away from everyday distractions, settle into the practice and feel more supported by the energy of the room.
Online sessions offer more flexibility and accessibility, allowing you to practise from a familiar environment without travel or additional logistics. For some people, being in their own space can make it easier to relax, feel comfortable and integrate the practice into everyday life.
Both include time to arrive, guided breathwork and meditation, and space for integration and reflection.
-
You can. Many breathing techniques can be practised independently.
A trained facilitator brings experience and a working understanding of how the nervous system responds to different breathing patterns. Techniques are selected with suitability in mind, pacing and intensity are adjusted in real time, and patterns can be noticed and explored with informed guidance.
Breathwork is not just about following a breathing pattern. It involves working with shifts in the body and emotional responses in a way that benefits from experience, knowledge and appropriate support.
-
No. Breathwork is not therapy and does not replace medical, psychiatric or psychological care.

“During a cross-country move, I was carrying a lot of stress. Melena taught me a breathwork practice that melted the tension and left me grounded. Her breathwork is truly exceptional, and her presence is calming. I recommend her to anyone who needs to slow down and reset."
